Finally leaving Byron Bay after being trapped here for 5 nights.

Made it to Tallow Beach (Byron's other beach) yesterday for a bit of body boarding with Nobbi. It was really fun although there was a hell of a strong current on the shore dragging us along the beach. There were some monster waves which were pretty daunting so got flung around a bit and did a few flips into and somersaults under the water. Somehow managed to get crushed between a wave and my board which was pretty wierd. Ended up unscathed though and a bit knackered.

Hopefully will be in Sydney tomorrow camping overnight somewhere on the way. Nobbi and I are getting the train from Gosford to Sydney for the last leg as Martin is staying in Gosford with friends. It's only an hour away though. Andy decided to stay in Byron as he's got the 'EAST COAST FEVER'. Pretty sad really!
