Heading south

Leaving Cairns in a mo' heading south in a 4 wheel drive with 2 Austrian guys and 1 German guy. Should be fun although not stopping at too many places on the way as the Austrians have already been up the east coast.

I feel pretty sad in a way as it feels like my time is coming to an end and it's the first time I have been the one to leave before everyone else.......sort of....does that make any sense.

Not really with it yet due to an afternoon drinking session with Thomas yesterday and then wine at the hostel last night and then out in the city for a quite a few farewell drinks. Then more drinks back at the hostel! Cannot remember the last time I would bump into a tree after 1 metre of stumbling from the start.

Well, onwards to Sydney. Apart from meeting up with you guys on my travels I'm not too keen on getting back to such a manic place even if it is calmer than places in the UK. It's been too long away from a major city but I'm sure I'll get used to it.
