After some confution at Buenos Aires bus terminal(this is to be expected with 60 platforms and probably more than 60 bus companies)the journey is underway. This is a true hulk of a bus and I think that next time I will spend a few extra Peso´s and have a bit more comfort... So anyway very bad noises start to come from the engine and the bus pulls over to avoid complete meltdown. But the driver has things under controll and after consulting the on board spares compartment,Spending a little time inside the engine and removing and replacing the offending part we are soon on route once more.
Cordoba is reached after 10 hours and I decide to go for the hotel option as wandering around a city you don´t know at 3 in the morning trying to find a hostel is probably not the best idea.
This is a nice town and it has a very big student population which lends itself to a good nightlife. There are also some great restaurants and the service is fantastic. It makes you realise how bad our service is in england when sometimes it feels as though the customer is almost like a problem to the service industry.
I am now feeling like I need to get away from the whole city thing for a bit and I´ve been told that Mina Clavero is the place to go.
