Work work work folks! Hope you are all set and doing awesome in your part of the world, crazy week this week, crazy! Did loads last week in Sydney, scouted out all that town after we had recovered from headaches and generally had a great time by Sydney Harbour, the V.Man got a haircut (as u can see in the photos) and we got the coach to Melbourne overnight. 12 hour journey and no sleep screwed us over majorly, but we were back in the game pretty soon! Checked out all of Melbourne, its awesome, loads to see and in Federation Square there has been a big screen up for the Formula 1 race so we watched all the qualifying and practice on friday and Saturday there! On Thursday we went to the course itself at Albert Park, and got to watch Formula 3, V8s and ute racing for free! Scored free stick on Ferrari tattoos and a free Vodafone Ferrari visor just for hanging around Fed. Sq, what a result! But ladies and gentleman, we got screwed over on Saturday night, had to stay awake all night because no beds at the hostel, we were tired i can tell u! Sunday morning we scooted down to get tickets for the main event, F1 race at Albert Park, and we got the tram for the short ride to the course! Then we were all set, was unreal, so much fun, stood about 10 metres from the cars, could nearly touch them! Saw the qualifying session, then a V8 race, then a celebrity race in BMWs and then the main event, the Fosters Australian Grand Prix (TM)!! How unreal, Fisichella drove superbly, and even though our boy Jenson only finished 11th because his car wasnt up to speed this weekend, we cheered loads for that legend and he proper sped round, that kids awesome! Montoya the dude totally flies round, so does Raikkonen, the McLaren is so loud, all the cars are, our ears were ringing! Cant describe the volume, its unbelievable. Michael Schumacher the dude is awesome to see drive, even though he didnt have the best race, and Coulthard is well fast, Villeneuve is quality too. After the race Lew and I and countless others invaded the track and walked all the way down the pit straight past the grid and next to all the drivers and team paddocks, COOL OR WHAT!? Best day ever, unreal! Slept loads last night because so tired and tomorrow we go see Karl Kennedy on the Neighbours night - just what the doctor ordered! Funny stuuf, Adelaide later this week! Be good dudes!F1 was awesome, remember, the cars are the loudest thing ever and they are incredibly fast! We were on the straight after vturn 8 and they reach about 250 kilometers per hour by then (150mph) and the top teams have a top speed of 350kph (220 mph)!!!!! Dude!!!!
