Ahh, it's a sad day here on the Khoa San Road...our last day of freedom, sob! Don't worry though, we've made the most of our last few days here. Lots of shopping for dodgy pirate DVDs, CDs, shoes, handbags, etc etc. A few temple sighseeing trips, and even a trip down Patpong, the red light district of Bangkok. Now there's a street of surprises, and that's all I'm going to say on the matter (unless you ask me in person in which case I'll be happy to tell the sordid details). To keep our energy levels up for the hectic pace we've had plenty of beer and buckets - a thai drink delicacy...for those of you not familar, it's a mix of thai whisky (too much can cause blindness apparently), red bull and coca cola served in a little plastic bucket. We're both suffering for our art though...we might need a wee holiday when we get back.
Anyway, we both just want to say thank you very much for reading this along the way, for checking out our photos, for putting messages on the guestbook and for all your mails...it made all the difference to our trip to know there were other people interested in what we were up to (and that you were all working, while we weren't, hee hee). So, so long and thanks for all the fish!
