Rurrenabaque is as close to the jungle as you can be. Pretty much the jungle is your backyard...From there there are rivers, mountains, pampas (or flatlands) and selva(jungle). I did a tour as a translator got charged half price and got to see many animals and plants, Including the bufeo (freshwater dolphin that lives in river) and also the eagles and birds around the ares, caiman (alligator) and even a snake. It was fun for three days as later I went up the river and into the jungle. It was wet season here so the mosquitoes are bitting and all the animals are hiding. I will write more later and also put pictures of the beautiful places here...
