In less than 48 hours we will finally be on our way to New York City. After just a couple of days there we are heading up to Whistler to ski in two weeks (we're praying desperately to the snow Gods for better conditions).
The 12th of March we will be in Seattle, leaving for Las Vegas the 15th. After two days of checking out such an absurd human creation we will pick up our new companion for 4 weeks - a rental car. So between the 16th of March and the 13th of April we will drive through Grand Canyon, meeting up with Margrete, Kari and Rena. We might catch some of the extreme snowdepths in Utah, then we're heading for California: climbing, surfing, nightlife, camping, trekking etc etc.
Next on the list will be Mexico, 15th of April. We're heading for Puerto Escondido at first, and then we'll see what happens. Our flight to Havana leaves on the 22nd of April, and we're hoping to find some nice bicycles, head towards Pinar Del Rio and see how far we get. San Jose is our next stop, and we've got a week to travel around the south of Costa Rica before our GAP trip starts. This "Central American Adventure" will take us through Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize and bring us back to Mexico again.
As a little treat on our homebound journey we're stopping in Disney World and Iceland, before returning to the great Norwegian summer of festivals, summerski and light nights.
