we are back in town after 12 days in thong nai pan. we had an amazing time, did basically fuck all except sit, read, eat,swim, play frisbee and teach the non commonwealth folks how to play beach cricket. Shei rocks at cricket! we had a wonderful time and made lots of good mates. it was hard (as always) to say bye to chris, john, paul, oli, barbara, sarah, si, yens, rebecca and herve but i suppose that is part of travelling. anyway we have made some rough plans to meet up with some of this crew later on. and through the magic of e-mail all is possible. while at this beach we took a day trip to go snorkling at koh ma, another little island near koh phan gan. we had thought it would be just us (ha!)but when our longtail pulled up the water was already teaming with people. luckily they all got out within minutes of us getting in to have lunch so we had the place to ourselves. it was beautiful, enormous schools of colourful fish. you could dive under and just be surrounded by a huge wall of fish. we are now thinking of doing some diving when we come back to thailand in a few months.
so after about a month of this fantastic chilled life we have decided to head off and see some other places, next stop (after a day in thong sala) is Khao Sok National park. have heard many excellant reports about this place, so we are keen to check it out, from there we don't have many ideas, maybe another island or just head north. not quite sure. . Shei tells me that we have had 360 visitors to this site so that is great (or it is just our families checking a few times a day!) if any of you want to leave us a message you can do it in the guestbook section. originally it was just going to be for shei to write what we had done in spanish but it seems that people had been using it as a guestbook. anyway, we would love to hear from you all and find out what you have been doing etc. So that is about all for the moment, we are feeling very relaxed after our time in thong nai pan, didn't do much and loved every minute of it! hope all is well for your groovers.
