We've made it down to the island of koh phan gan. We took the overnight train from bangkok which was really easy and comfortable. Our seats even turned into beds so we could have a sleep, or at least try to. Then we took the bus over to the port and finally took a ferry to this island.
This island is paradise. It is amazingly beautiful, there is a party scene and also many great places to chill out. At the moment we are staying in a little bungalow halfway between the main port and the main party area. We have hired motorbikes (well scootters really) and cruised around on them, exploring many parts of the island. I have been driving it as when Shei tried to have a go at it, she was out of control in seconds and fell off within 5 seconds (which was pretty lucky , if she had kept going she would have gone it a ditch! So we have been zooming around, swimming in crystal clear water, eating banana shakes and relaxing on the beach! Not a very hard life. At our bungalow we met a bunch of english guys, real "lads". They came here last year and have shown us lots of great places. They are a bunch of really nice guys although they tend to talk about the soccer too much. At least with Shei around we can give them shit that Argentiona will knock England out of the world cup. They are pretty rough and tumble sort of blokes but at the bungalow that we are staying at, the little 5 year old daughter of the bunglow owner is always around and always playing, it is amazing to see these guys who try to act all tough and macho melt into butter when they play with Wil, the little girl. Last night they took us to this place called the mad Bar which is a really chilled place that is high up and overlooks the forest and the water. We went there when the sun was setting behind another island in the distance, fucking magical. So that has been our life so far. Hope you are all well,
