Well we made it home safe and sound. We have been back for over a week now ... it's been extreamly busy and very tough to get over our jet-lag and colds. Our last entry was from Surat Thani on our way to Bangkok. In Bangkok we hooked up with Nancy and Mike again. We shopped at the MBK, Siam Centre and World Trade Centre Malls ... as well as the Patpong Market. We took in some sights at The Grand Palace and at Wat Po. We even took a tuk tuk ride and a ferry ride down the river and survived both. On Tuesday Night we caught up with Rafi and his gang and went to Muay Thai (Thai Kickboxing). It was very entertaining especially when we wagered .... the big winner was Nancy while Mike was the big loser (just wasn't Mike's day was it ... buffet?). Wednesday was our last day and we spent it buying last minute gifts. On Thursday, 1:05 am we boarded our flight. 29 hours later, which included an 8 hour lay-over in Seoul, we arrived at our apartment in Vancouver ... exhausted. So after 35 days, 5 countries, 15 hotels, 8 planes, 5 ferries, 4 trains, 3 scooters (1 accident), 2 buses, 1 mini bus (avoid at all costs) and countless longboats, songthaews and taxis our vacation has come to an end. To all our new and old friends thanks for helping make our trip memorable. Bali; Ryan & Taryn, Brad & Liza and Josh and Mary-Jane. Malaysia; Alice, Alex and Wendy. Thailand; Ryan and Daniel, Evan, Rafi & family, Nancy & Mike, Trina & Peter and Maria and Mike. We should have some pictures uploaded in the next couple of days, so check back.
Take care.
Over and out.
