Off
Wow. Sometimes I amaze myself. Yesterday I sorted out all my trekking plans, kitted myself out, and i'm off tomorrow to Pokhara and then the next day start walking. The trek should take about 14 days or so, in the Annapurna region. I'll get back to Kathmandu around the 5th-7th and then head off to Tibet (weather permitting) on the 9th! Bonus.
The Nasty weather has gone and its lovely and sunny and warm here, which is i'm sure just what you all wanted to hear. Although you can take solace in the knowledge that Lhasa in Tibet is always cold, mainly coz it's at an elevation of about 3500m, so it'll be molto sub-zero when I get there.
But I won't freeze, coz I now possess a woolly hat. With earflaps. And tassles.
Namaste, see you later
