friday rolled around, thursday being my final day at class, got payed, left shida with an excited feeling, friday was spent at PS uploading photos, then i headed over to taipei main station to wait for scott.
after walking around a few minutes, drinking coffee and taking sneaky photos scott called. we met, took the MRT home, sat and caught up over some kirin ichiban, then headed over to PS where we sat outside with brent, robbie, john and erik further drinking and further speaking. midnight, hunger struck... we all piled up the road and attacked citystar racking up a bill of over 4000NTD for the 6 of us.. so... incredibly stuffed on amazing food we walked up to Ren Ai and down to Chocolate and Love where john ordered his absinthe bottle and we all took to the bar and chatted, smoking dunhills and sipping absinthe, watching the guys in the corner playing strip poker and laughing.. home was headed to at 5.30am after a fantastic night in taipei.. another one.
saturday was fast paced. up at the early time of 3.45pm. out the house by 4 we headed straight to Chiang Kai Shek which scott thought was awesome, then over to Lungshan Temple/Snake Alley/Ximen... then hurried to catch a tube to 101, from there we went to PS, settled into a couple of hoegaardens, robbie, moose, gemma, brent, erik all met up and we jumped in cabs to Shilin to try out the pub/club/cafe/musicstore-----> Boven.
the night passed in good company, in a very cool bar, with coronas and smokes.. and ended with a mad dash to subway, finding it closed and having to humiliate ourselves and eat Mc D's cause of starvation........ scott, brent, erik and I then hit a cab and drove back to ours where we broke open the LaChouffe and watched the Office until the sun came up..
Scott took off back to Singapore the next day at 4, we had subway for lunch and then headed by cab to the station..hugged.. and promised to meet again in another bizarre location! who knows where.
