So what am I doing back in Bangkok? After Indonesia, the whole journey has gone abit 'flat' (the only word I can use to describe it) and I have spent the last couple of weeks just going through the motions. This, coupled with a number of personals reasons (which I shan't bore you with), and I made the decision the other day, that I would continue through Laos, into China and then fly out from Hong Kong. But when I got to Nong Khai, across the river from Laos, I really couldn't summon up any enthusiasm to carry on. I knew then that it was time to go home. So I'm flying back to the UK tomorrow. Countries will always be there to visit - the ones who mean the most to you might not be.
