tuesday brought a sunny sky, a soft morning, a strong cup of coffee, a few nice emails, a phone call, an appointment, a job....

the illusion shattered, the veil lifted.. after more than 4 months of bliss I was about to start working again........

i met the contact person at shida- after having spent ten minutes talking to a mongolian homeless person who was surprisingly good at english- she shuffled off to a tea house and we started discussing the job. i was to basically walk in unprepared, teach a class of seven year old cram students (only 4 of them) for one hour with no instruction, no teacher with me, no guidelines, nothing.. and for a person who hasn't even taught a dog how to sit or lie.... oh boy.

the class went ok. i didn't really enjoy it but whats to enjoy about teaching? unless you are a teacher....

i left the building with my head slightly reeling.. sat in shida and watched the throngs of "moderns" walk by with gelled hair and fitting clothes..sipped a tsingtao, then headed over to PS by MTR and conversed with maria and frank until jared came and we headed off in search of food after 11... almost impossible.. but not entirely.
