It is a sad day. This is our last day to spend in beautiful Italy. I know you might be shocked to hear that I am sad because I have been ready to come home for a while. But now that it is here, Im so sad. I wont be sad to leave our apt because nothing worked, things broke, and it was just gross. I wont miss how nothing in Italy is easy, nothing is organized, everything is complicated. I wont miss climbing 5 flights of stairs 10 time a day. But I will miss walking past the Cathedral everyday or the Ponte Vecchio. I will miss being able to see some of the best art in the world on a whim. I will easy classes and teachers helping you on the tests. I will miss 100% on papers, and calling all my teachers by their first names. Ill miss more free time than I know what to do with. Ill miss being able to go to Paris for the weekend or Prague or Venice for birthdays.
Saddly, I cant have the best of both worlds. I cant have my friends from home, who i miss sooooooooo much. I cant have my family or my comfortable lifestyle if I were here. So I am trading the Piazza Republica for friends and Gelato for Baylor. In the end I am so glad I came here and got to experience such a different life style. I am excited to be home again and sad to leave. See everyone soon!!
LOVE, Caroline milan-paris-london-chicago HOME!!!
