Yessssssssss!!
Finally, I'm done with essays and exams!! I'm really sorry for not posting anything sooner, but I have been very busy studying and writing essays. But now I'm completely done with school for 2 months, so this weekend will be a party weekend!! But I'll come back to that...
After the last time I wrote here, a lot has happened: Marijn has been here, I had my last trampoline competition and training :(, I handed in an essay and got a few back, made 2 exams and partied somewhat in between...
On Saturday 27th of November, I had my 2nd and last trampoline competition. It went really well, I improved my score from 47.3 to 48.4, and came 4th!! Yeay me!! In the afternoon I picked up Marijn from the train station, and at night we went out to Glow with the rest of the trampoline club. That was really fun, and we slept in the next day, before visiting the Wallace Monument (AGAIN!) and the rest of Stirling. On Monday we went to Glasgow, did some sightseeing and saw The Incredibles. Reaaaally fun, go see it everyone! And in between we chatted a lot, so I now know everything that is going on at home again! It was a really good weekend, I had loads of fun!
After dropping Marijn off at the airport on Tuesday (really early, blrgh), I went home to begin my studying. It didn't take off really smoothly, because I was too tired and went back to bed :). But hey, enough time left! On Wednesday I had a x-mas tree erection party (don't laugh) at Lauren's. That was great fun, we made vodka jelly and had all kinds of Christmassy food and stuff! Later at night we went to the Beat (R&Bish club) to dance the night away... Good night!!
The next day it was back to studying again, what I did for almost the entire week up until now. Almost I must say, because I went for some dancing and drinking and a movie (Bridget Jones 2, very nice!!) in between. Normally, I would never ever do that in exam period, but here the standards are not as high as home: a 50% score is a pass! And if you do well on your essays, a 40% score on the exam is enough. So that was not really good for my motivation, but eventually everything got into my head and on paper, and I think I passed both my exams (and yes, with more than 50%...)! And I'm also very pleased about my business plan I handed in. Hope that turns out ok... but it probably will, because I passed my concept and I didn't really decrease in level I think, so... And I got a 1C and a 2A for my other 2 essays, that's a 10 and a 9 in Dutch standards... Go me! But actually it's an 80% and a 75% score, so don't think I've become a genius or something... ;)
So that's that, now it's weekend and I've got some good stuff coming up! Tomorrow I have a Christmas dinner with the trampoline club, very nice. After that we'll probably end up dancing somewhere... and on Sunday we're having a kind-of goodbye-party with Jonathan, because he leaves next week already, booh! And Monday, yessssssss really looking forward to that, I'm going clubbing in Edinburgh with Lauren and Mindy. Really cool, and we can crash at Laurens grandma's place, which is practically in the town centre! During the day Mindy and me want to climb Athur's seat, the cliff that overlooks Edinburgh, and we'll probably do some shopping too :) Not that I have any money to spend, but ehm, yeah... And Hanna and I have plans to go to Ilse of Arran, which is supposedly very beautiful so that should be good on a nice day. So I've still got loads to do before I go back!
And on the 21st of December, I'm flying back home! I've gotten up to a point where I want to go home and eat stamppot and kaassoufles :) and have my own room back and stuff, but I still don't want to leave here. But I'll be visiting again in March or something, so that'll be great!
I'll probably write some more before I go home, but if not, I'll see u all soon!!
