the day has been spent in the company of my cameras and a stunning sky. i walked out at midday and headed through mazy streets, into subways, through tunnels, down alleys and main roads, pausing to look through the viewfinder whenever something caught my eye.
I have been back in taipei for 4 days, 4 pleasant days spent in good company, at the cafe, at Odean drinking Leffe and eating cheese sticks, watching "alexander" at 1.20am.. what a waste of time...riding scooters, frequenting PS, changing my holga into a 35mm camera, attempting to find work and yet secretly hoping something happens so i dont need to... ah.. what a fickle hope....
its good to be back. its nice to come to taiwan and know what to expect. just as it was fantastic to arrive not knowing a thing. there is beauty in discovery, and re-discovery. I am unsure how long i will be here, that is up to jobs and enthusiasm.. but i see myself fitting in here for a while.. and enjoying it immensely.
