My first foreign country...

Ah what a beautiful sight it was to land in one of the most modern airports in the world. It looked like a bloody space ship, but nice nonetheless. I changed my cash, bought a pack of 20 cigs for about $3.5AUD. Had my first cig after about 15 hours. Talked to a few of the other travellers whilst waiting for our bus to arrive to take us to our free hotel room. The thing I now like about travelling alone is being able to connect with others doing the same in a way that would seem that you have known them for a long time, although this is also a drawback as you will find out later...

Anyway, we travelled on the bus with the loose axle for about 45mins to the hotel we stayed at for one night, The Soeul Royal. It was very nice. The toilet had a console that did lots of magical stuff, like warm the seat, squirt water in your arse and other interesting things.

I went down to the Restaurant and had a nice meal and the largest beer i had ever drunk. It must have been about 2 pints. It was bloody expensive too, about £10 which is about 27 AUD. So damn expensive. Soeul is a city that is lively up until midnight. There are many Kareoke bars and regular bars with special rooms... i'll let your imagination run wild!

So, after dinner, Ian (one of the australians travelling to london) and I went out to a pub and drank a few pints of lager, smoked a few cigarettes and told stories. We also had a good look around the local area, full of neons, just like most people imagine tokyo.

I found a domino's, one of my missions in every place I go, and then I went back to my hotel room and slept.

Next entry: Onwards... to England!!!
