|  | | Kolkata ... as bad as Chennai | | | | | Oooooooo! Another big Indian city full of lots of touts to help us on our way. Managed to get to the hippy traveller part of town and found a horrible place to stay for the night.
Next day tried to put a real effort in this time as I felt bad for not giving Chennai a chance. Tried to go to the planetarium that was meant to be very good .... but very closed. Then decided to go shopping for presents. I have never seen so many shops without a single thing in them worth buying. Couldn’t work out why the streets smelt so badly of rancid milk.
Time to go. Quick dash to get the train that we were running late for .... passed a man lying in his own vomit and covered in flies. Only a 17 hour train journey this time.
