Hiya!
How's it going? I'm doing perfectly ok! One more essay to write and 2 exams to study, and two weeks to do that, so my stress level isn't that high (yet).
Last weekend my parents came to visit. They arrived on Friday, late in the afternoon, so we just hung around in their Bed&Breakfast, had dinner and I showed them my flat and the campus by night. On Saturday we got up early and went to Edinburgh, we had a great day and the weather was beautiful! We took a sightseeing bus with an open top, so we could see everything really well. I saw lots of the sights before, but I didn't mind seeing them again, Edinburgh is truly a pretty city to look at! We also visited the Whisky Heritage Centre, where the history and making of whisky is explained. That was really cool, and I must say I've started to like whisky a lot more than I did before (remember my goodbye-party??). I took some nice pics as well!
At night my parents were knackered, so that meant some dancing time for me! I watched Moulin Rouge with Mindy and I went to Glow with Kristin and Chris afterwards, once again it was hilarious! The next morning, not too early, my parents and I went to visit the Wallace Monument (again!!), the castle and the rest of Stirling. My knee hurt from walking the day before, so I went home early. Later that night we had dinner and said goodbye, because their flight left really early on Monday morning. I'm sure they had a great time (cause they told me..) and so did I!
This week I'm gonna be busy writing my business plan. I already handed in a concept earlier, so it shouldn't be too much work. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the financial section. But it has to be done... Maybe I can ask someone to help me with it, or I can just take out an accounting book at the library (blugh).
And Marijn is coming on Saturday! The same day as my 2nd trampolining competition (which will be in Stirling, on our own beds, in our own hall!). She won't be able to see me bounce though, but she can come along on the night out, so that will be as much, if not more fun! And after Marijn leaves on Tuesday, I've got one week left to study for my exams. After that, it will be party hardy and some sightseeing as well. Mindy and I both want to climb the cliff that overlooks Edinburgh (see pic), so we're probably going to do that too.
