Well our wee adventure in Indonesia is almost at an end.It was our 1st wedding anniversary last week,and what did we do.Well we were sitting having a few beers and we got chatting to 3 guy's 2 from South africa and an Aussie,Rossco,grant and dwozza,top lads and they took us to a fancy bar and bought us a nice bottle of wine.And we were touched again by kindness of people we meet.After that the 5 of us went out and got completley mullered.what a great night.
Next day was the anniversary of the bali bombing,and the whole place was full of army and cops with loads of machine guns,at night we went down to the memorial and the entire street was closed off and lined with candles,they were having a screening of a movie about the bombings and then they were in party mode after that,celebrating life.
Later in the week we took off again for the Gilli islands,one last week of nothing but chilling out.We decided to complete our Open water course for scuba diving,and now that we passed we can dive anywhere in the world and go to 18 metres,It was a topper course and we laughed at each others mishaps all the time,we did 2 dives and both times we got too see a reef shark,and a few turtles.the shark was boss.about 2 metres long and it looked like a bad un.i suppose diving at shark point you expect to see a couple.
And we never papped it this time..
We also met up with dwozza,grant & rossco and had a real good laugh with them,i think we were the last ones on the island to go to bed.
So after an early start and a hellish flight we are back in Kuta.Only to do our laundry and buy a few bits n bobs and pack for Oz.
So its Oz on the 23rd folks..until then
