A lot of studying, partying and a little bit of culture...

Hey you guys!

I'm sorry that I didn't post anything sooner, but like I said on the guestbook, I didn't find time for it.

I've been really busy working on my assignments. I thought I had plenty of time for them, but the days fly by here, so I'm beginning to get a bit stressy. And I had planned to work on my papers on Thursday and Friday, but different kind of things came up, so I didn't really do anything. I'll tell you about that later... But today I did some brilliant work on my assignment that is due on Friday, I only have to find out one more thing and then it's done. But the other one is kind of hard, which I didn't expect because it sounded so easy... Oops... And that one is due after the break (3 nov) but I won't be able to do stuff during break because Wessel comes then (jeeeeeeeeeeeeeej!!!). So that means I will have to be done with that one as well on Friday, or at least almost finished... But I will have some spare time this week, so I keep being optimistic...

My Wednesdays are starting to look more and more like the ones at home!! last Wednesday and that before, I went to Glow, which is an on-campus-bar-dancing-thingy. So I danced the night away whoohoo!! The only difference is, that Glow closes at 1am, not like Diz at all... But after that there is always a nice and warm kitchen to sit and drink some more!! Last Wednesday Jonathan was sooooo waisted!! He was so funny, and the best (or worst, actually) thing is, he didn't remember anything the next day. He had asked Sam if he could rub up against him, and kept slapping peoples asses!! And he went on and on about his plant, which he has named Ralph... some of it is captured on video!! :)

So on Thursday I didn't get up until 11, and went for a quick swim. That was really good! The swimming pool is only a 5 minute walk away from my flat, so that's really a good thing! At 14 I finally headed for the library, but on the way I met some trampolining people who were selling tickets for Enigma (that's a club in town), to get some money for the club. So I stayed there for 2 hours, to serve my duty and sell 2 tickets (?). After that I did some quick typing on my papers, but no real work got done...booh...

At night I went to a Celtic Night, organized by the international society in a pub in town: O'Neills. That was great fun, and we chatted with some guys who just graduated from Stirling Uni and one of them hitted on Hanna (hihi)... After that, we went to Enigma and where all the trampolining people were. I had sooooo much fun dancing up on the stage and stuff. And Hanna chatted with that guy she met earlier... he seriously came especially for her!! But she had a nice conversation with him, so that's a good thing! It was such a great night!!

What wasn't so great was the morning after that... blgh... but another morning (or more like afternoon..) swim did me some good! I planned doing some work again that day, but first I HAD to go to the supermarket, because I was totally out of food... By the time I got back it was 4pm and guess what, I didn't really get some work done. Yesterday I finally did something constructive: I read some books and made notes for my assignments. And today I really did some brilliant work, as I said, so things are starting to look better!

I also did some cultural stuff: I went to visit Stirling Castle with Hanna and Mindy. That was really good, but it was a bit cold what made the experience a bit less than Edinburgh Castle. The exhibitions in Edinburgh Castle were also better than the ones in Stirling, but Stirling Castle was nice as well (see pics). Yesterday we didn't do anything cultural, but I will be able to make up for that during break, when Wessel comes. We're planning to go to the Isle of Skye, supposedly the most beautiful island in the country, and to Inverness, which is next to Loch Ness. Maybe we'll get a glimpse of Nessie.. you never know... :)

And by the way, my back's fine!! It turned out I dislocated a rib, as I said earlier on the guestbook, but it healed very quickly and last Tuesday I had my first jump again. It went really well, and my back hurt only a little the next day. I skipped training on Thursday and tonight I'm trying it again. Looks good, I will probably be able to join in the first competition, which is the 6th of November.

That's it for now, I'll try to be quicker with posting stuff next time, but I don't give any guarantees... But after break you'll definitely get some great stories & pics!!!
See ya guys, Big Kiss!!
