today for the third time in my life i was in an earthquake. ok, its not alot of times.. but this one was different.. i was sitting alone, on the 32nd floor, writing on the laptop when the room started swaying and things started rumbling... i ran to the doorway (as i had been told, although on the 32nd floor what difference would it make?) and tried to stay calm (that failed).. and just rode it out... pieces of someones roof started falling to the ground and then i really panicked... but then as quickly as it came it was over and i went back to the computer, shaken up, and continued writing... thankful that i wasn't at the bottom of a pile of bricks and mortar. my friend in singapore then wrote me and told me it was on the news over there.. technology is fantastic!
