Rough. I feel rough. But b4 I go into why, I'll update yez all on the last couple of weeks in Iran. After I left Tabriz, having caught up a bit on my french by going to Hadi's french class, I got to the village of Kaleybar which has a particularly funky 7thCentury fortress on top of a 13,000ft mountain. In the village I met an English teacher, who made me take his class that day! From there I found hot springs (v.hot, straight from the volcano no less) in Saraeyn. Played football with the Bazaris in Emam Square in the centre of Esfahan, and managed to lose my camera in the old city of Yazd which is an absolute maze. I was mildly distraught until some guy caught me wandering around the city forlornly and gave me a lift on the back of his motorbike as we sped around looking for it. After riding around the city twice we eventually got to where I thought i'd left it, and luckily it was ok - having been picked up by some kids. But there were slightly less pictures left than before...

Also saw the incredible ancienty city at Arg-e-Bam which is pretty amazing, even though i was a littly sicky at this time.

Bam was where I began my hideous journey to Quetta. It didn't start too bad, and was ok on the Iranian side, it was the bus from Taftan to Quetta that was the nightmare. 14hrs, so not the longest i've been on (that honour goes to the 34hrs from Istanbul to Tabriz), but certainly the most uncomfortable, and then the coldest. It was sub-zero, and because I'd been hassled by rip-off merchant taxidrivers while packing up my luggage, i'd put my jumper and coat in my bag which was now on top of the bus. Not to mention the old witches across the aisle that hit me (literally) with a big bottle of water when I tried to find a comfortable position. This pointed my legs sideways, and I still have no idea what they were whinging about. So about 10 hours of the journey were in the freezing cold, being abused and with a dodgy gut at the same time. I now have to change some money and get a train ticket to Rawalpindi (35hrs). The fun never stops!
