After we had arrived at our hotel resort on the Pacific Coast (Tamarindo), we were basically just relaxing by enjoying the pool, the sea, the sun and the nice food we had over there. One day we exlpored a little bit the nearby area of Tamarindo, which has still got the charming touch of a bagbackers location. Furthermore this place is quite loved among sufers. After these 3 days in Tamarindo we started the last leg of our Costa Rica Trip - we wanted to watch the turtles laying their eggs in Samara at the Pacific Coast on the peninsula Nicoya. As this is happening only after sun set we got ourselves a small bungallow at Samara for the night and started together with a californian couple and our guide towards the beach as soon as it got dark. The way to this beach was already an adventure for itself. The 4 guys of us sitting on the loading space of a pick-up driving more than one our to the beach via bumpy roads. But it was definitely worth doing it because watching the turtle so close was an impressing experience... The following day we went back to San Jose where our journey has started almost two weeks ago. A long day for travelling back to Germany via Washington, DC & London was waiting for us to start very early the day after. And now enjoy some of the pictures.
