There are long moments on this trip where I do not know where I come from. For now I belong here, to Europe and it’s many landscapes, the small forest in Erlangen, the hills and churches of Salzburg, the castles of Fuessen, the cobblestone streets of Bamberg, the banks of the Elbe in Hamburg, the farmland and greenery and hospitality of Poland. It is all so wonderful, comfortable and relaxing. I find myself not worrying about what I “must” do later. There is no pressure here. I feel younger. I want to take it with me in a compartment in my heart, when I start to stress I will open it and remember this life where worries are a waste, where one celebrates a day with sunshine and enjoys conversations with friends and family, where I can just sit in silence and look at what’s around me and take it all in with a subtle thanks. I have been Blessed to be here. It will always be special to me and I hope someday to come back.
