|  | | The Damnest Things | | | | | You see the damnest things here in Sana’a. So far I have seen a 10 year old boy drive a 5 ton truck through the chaotic streets of Sana’a. I have seen an old man let his goats run free on the garbage buffet that are the streets of Yemen. You see rickety old vehicles packed to the gunnels with passengers. You see woman in full burqas but with Oakley’s on the outside.
We went for lunch yesterday and one of the local’s asked why the bill was so high and they responded that it was because we were with Nexen. He explained that it was out of our own pockets and then the bill was half price.
