Three weeks down, two to go
I have now finished three weeks worth of classes here at the school. It`s going really fast, and I can hardly believe that I only have two weeks left. Today I had to give my class presentation, which consisted of me giving a presentation and leading a class discussion. My topic was the election in the U.S. and the terrorist threat. Yesterday we had our first test. It was fairly easy, because all of the questions came directly out of the notes. I have really liked my class so far, and I`m getting the conversation practice that I desperately need. This weekend is the first completely free weekend that I`ve had since I`ve been here. I`m not yet sure exactly what I`ll do, but I`ll probably go in with some friends and rent a car to drive around the region a little. The region is amazing, with all of the rivers, lakes, and endless pine forests. I was able to see some more of it on Wednesday, when we went to Lac Simoncouche, which is owned by the school. While there, we had a cookout, played volleyball, and went canoeing. It was a lot of fun, and I was glad to see some of the scenery. Our next excursion isn`t until a week from Sunday, when we go to Tadoussac.
