July 7th is a day in Germany that predicts the weather. Although it began sunny and warm it ended up rainy and cool. On this day if it rains, superstition states that there will be rainy weather for the next 7 weeks. I am only here for 5 more weeks...and since Thursay I have maybe seen the sun for 15 minutes ( a little here, a little there). Highs are in the low 60´s and I go ride my bike around town with gloves and a scarf. The good news is, Helmut and I will travel next week, to Salzbug Austria over the weekend, it will still be rainy, but in the 80´s.
Next week I will also head to Neuschwanstein, the epic and tourist trap castle that Disneylands Sleeping Beauty castle was modeled after. I have wanted to go to it for years, so I am quite excited.
I hope the weather in California is nicer than here.
By the end of next week I should have some nice photos of Salzburg and the Castle....so please check back later.
