School begins

Today is the first normal day of school. On Monday we took our practice test and on Tuesday we were introduced to our classes and had to choose our activities. I made it into 1B, which is pretty difficult, but I can follow all that my prof. says. He`s really nice, but I heard that we were the only class to have homework on the first day. For our weekly schedule, we have activities like sports or theatre, choir and lots of other stuff on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Tuesdays we go home for the afternoon, and it`s a short day. On Thursdays we have classes in the morning and the afternoon, and then Fridays we get out early but always have some sort of activity for the night. Also, there are lots of activities thrown in throughout the week. So far, the family has been great. For breakfast, we just fix cereal or toast, because the family isn`t up yet. At dinner, we have had grilled hot dogs, lasagna, and chicken. They were all really good. They`re a very laid-back family, and they even gave me and Joel, the other student who lives with me, spare keys so we can come and go as we please. They also have friends over often, so it`s easy to listen to a lot of French conversation. Have to go to class now, but I`ll write more when I can
