Yesterday I flew into the Bagotville regional airport, which was tiny. It was pretty much just in the middle of a field, with a bunch of trees around it. If any of you know Fayetteville`s old airport, Drake Field, it was even smaller than that. Then, we went to the school where we were free to roam for a few hours. We walked around the city a little bit. It`s a nice town, a little smaller than Fayetteville, and it is hilly and heavily-forested. I talked with some other students, who were mostly from Canada. Today, though, I met some students from Tennessee and Massachusetts. My family is very nice and normal. They live in a safe, nice neighborhood. I spoke with them and listened to some of their conversation, trying to pick out words I could understand. They, along with the other people around here, speak very, very little English. I will definitely have to learn some more in order to have better conversations. I do get to sneak in some English with the other students, and I have a TV in my room that has some English stations. Today, wè`re taking our placement exams and then walking around the city some. Yesterday, the weather was very nice, about 75 degrees and sunny. Today it`s pretty rainy, and the family says that it rains a lot here. That`s all for now. More later
