Well I am still in Paris for another night. I had a great time last night. I went out with Rachel and saw Paris by night. We went to the Eifel tower, but it was too late to go up in it, so I am about to mount it tonight. I walked a long way last night, on my stroll along the Seine, so I will probably take the metro tonight.

This morning I woke up, and went to the Louve. It was amazing. I saw Venus DeMilo, Winged Victory, and the Mona Lisa among many other things. There is so much art there, that it would take days and days to go through and give a small glance to everything. I took the rick steves tour, which I found efficent and entertaining. I then did a little exploring on my own, but all I could do was look at things, because all of the information about the art was in French.

Besides that, I have been eating alot. I have not eaten in a Restaurant, but I have been buying fresh bread, fruit and cheese from small markets. It is very good, and not expensive. The baggets (probably 1.5 feet long) are 90 euro. I know what you are all thinking. You think Beaurre is a kind of cheese. It is in the same section as the cheese, it is wrapped like cheese, and even when you open it and cut a piece off, it still looks like cheese. But when you put it in your mouth, you realize that Beaurre is French-Speak for butter. Other than this mistake, everything has been very tasty.

One thing that I saw today at the Louve surprised me. I think I saw the orginal statue of the Hog that sits outside the Snake building at the LR zoo. I didn't bring my camera, so I am kicking myself, but I swear it looked just like that bronze hog.

I guess I haven't mentioned anything about the weather. It is cool about 70 durning the day. Fabulous. One neat thing is that it doesn't get dark until about 10:00pm. That means it will be pitch black when I take my train tomorrow. It leaves paris at 6:55 AM. I have an hour or so layover in Cologne, and will get to Regensburg aat about 5 somtheing.

I'll put up more later
-Kyle
