Eclectic Santa Fe
Eclectic Santa Fe
As I mentioned in an earlier post, love riding around in Santa Fe looking at all the sights and sounds. And smells are coming up soon with it getting real close to chile roasting time! As you ride around Santa Fe in late August, early September there are chile roasting stands set up all around town and the smell is out of the this world!
But for now, we have a routine that seems to work well for us. We either bike downtown or bike to bus stop, ride the bus to near downtown and bike from there. It depends on what we will be doing that day.
Being on a bike allows you to see things much closer at hand. When possible we ride the trails, side streets or sidewalks in parts of town where you don't find tourists walking along on the sidewalks.
There is so much to see that you would miss in a car sowe really do enjoy this method of getting around town. There is so much artsy decorations everywhere you look so have to watch out for "cameraman" stopping suddenly to get a picture! But so much to see and enjoy!
