I love Paris in the springtime (and summer)

On Monday morning, we were joined by Fernando Chaves for Paris sightseeing. Fernando lived with us for a year (92-93) as an exchange student from Spain. Now he is a grownup person with a wife and 2 children. He took the day off work to be with us for our Paris adventures -- the Louvre, the Arc, lunch on the Champs Elysee, designer window shopping, St. Chappelle, and Notre Dame.

After that restful day, we were invited to Fernando's house for dinner. We had a fabulous dinner (fish baked in a salt jacket -- a specialty of Fernando's area of Spain, artful roasted vegetables, strawberries...yum!) and of course, killer cheese.

We were all stressing because we didn't have a GPS for the motor home trip. Floyd's Tom Tom croaked at the last minute, so Cecile and Fernando kindly offered theirs. It saved us. Really.
