Food for Thought
Even though we go through a lot of trouble or problems, God always seems to amaze and surprise us at the least expectant moment when we feel we are at our weakest point. Today I could barely stay in church because of some pain I have been dealing with for the past day and a half, I thought it would go away if I called the right people and have that special someone come to comfort me. But the pain still lives inside of me. Not as much now as before. I have had certain people, who I have come to know for a very long time now, just come up and wonder whats wrong. People who don't really know me still come up and ask me the same question. A really good friend of mine told me that it's better to be crying in a church than somewhere else. One because you actually know a good chunk of them (if you don't go to church they still would come up to you and want to get to know you) and two you have people who really care about you and just want to love on you and pray for you as well. And you don't have to tell them the whole situation if you don't want to talk about it. They'll just love on you. Like Jesus did for us. He loved on us so much that He died for us. The New Testament, all those books, talk about Jesus and how he sacrificed his life for us.
Trust me I'm not the best speaker but love built this world, it built up life and built up relationships, and families and hope for people for years to come. When I was in YWAM we had this speaker, named Gordon, who talked to us about the Father Heart of God. One thing that will always be embedded in my mind was these words "He loves you because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you". He just kept repeating those words and they brought me to tears. It's hard to take up the Cross and follow Jesus because of what the world thinks of you and the pain you have been going through, if there is a point where your just like "God, or whoever you are (if you dont believe in him yet), is this all there is to life" (and trust me I have also been down that road)? Taking the Cross and following Him was the best decision I ever made. Like I have said before in my recent posts, He has blessed me farther than I could ever imagine and will bless me more later in life. So I cant give up hope just yet because He is bigger than my problems and will never let me go no matter what people or anyone else says. Hebrews 13:5-6 says "Don't be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, "I'll never let you down, never walk off and leave you," we can boldly quote,
God is there, ready to help;
I'm fearless no matter what.
Who or what can get to me?". (The Message)
Be happy with what you have and follow Jesus because He is the only way to eternal salvation. Love you all heaps and thanks for reading. God Bless.
