Travelled back across Bass Strait to Victoria on the Spirit of Tasmania, no hiccups luckily as we heard the Victorian Wharfies had been striking!! We docked at Port Melbourne at 7.30am on 6th and drove down the Mornington Peninsula until we found our next camp...

Weather: started off pretty bleak with cold, wind n rain, but LOVED all the patches of sunshine we have had on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday...
Facilities: immaculate amenities blocks (with 3AW playing gently over some speakers nearly 24 hours a day), friendly staff at office and around the property, nice and tidy camping areas, a lot of older tenants in residential cabins fully decked out like homes, TV room and Camp kitchen in tidy states for us to utilize when the weather called for it and in a central location
Activities: avoided the cold in the holiday parks TV room and camp kitchen for meals or footy games, day trip to Cape Schnack Lighthouse & Museum, catch up with Mel Anne Braganza & Sam at winery & strawberry farm (great day), day trip to Point Nepean to walk our way around the history, checked out Frankston Sand Sculpting art, ice-cream daily when sun was out (to make up for a low chocolate Easter), checked out Mornington Pier and Main Street, noticed the huge gates & mansions in Sorrento/Portsea area...
Car all serviced and ready for our Great Ocean Road travels, once we have done the Searoad Ferry over to Queenscliff!! Lunch with Elly's Aunty Bernice in Geelong area is all booked in for us too :-)
