Western Australia

Good day mates. Notice the first pic happened 15 minutes from home where Bill got a $220 speeding ticket. Opps. We have not been online much and when we did get a chance we were paying said ticket. We have successfully survived our Western Australia part of our journey. We arrived exhausted in Perth and then headed south to Dunsborough for the most amazing wedding. I think I might be the only Canadian cut off from an open bar. They did me a favour I'm sure. The wedding was beautiful and Kelly Kelly and Deeks were a beautiful couple. Their family and friends treated us very well right down to finding us sheets, bring your own. We did a wine tasting tour (on a bus) and yesterday went surfing. My before 50 goal. Bill managed to get vertical on his second try, but I made a better seal (made for in the water not on top). We wanted to go to Freemantle (Freo) yesterday, but ended up in Madurah, apparently a huge mining conference and festival in Freemantle. We really only needed a hot tub and bed, a little tired from our surfing experience. Going to spend the day in Freemantle today, see what the big deal is, and then into Perth tonight to fly to Tasmania tomorrow. We are tanned and not so Canadian white looking. We are sore and battered, but what fun. Western Australia will hold many new good friends and memories. Might have to come back here one day.
