Birthdays and goodbyes

Holy Moly....it's been forever!! It seems that I haven't done anything worth mentioning since Easter!! Seriously though...it's pretty much true.

My job is......well, let's just say that I'm employed and leave it at that.

I decided not to go home for the summer as I'll be going home for Christmas this year. It may end up being a bad decision as my summer schedule is pretty bleak, but it is what it is.

And with the summer, come some other changes. Namely that I'll be living alone all summer!! My flat mates have left the country for the summer- Alex is moving back to the States after traveling for 6 weeks, and Kelly has gone to the States for the summer. So, here I am all alone. But before all the leaving....there was a bit of fun to be had.

The last weekend with everyone here was also Kelly's birthday weekend and so we had a few celebrations. Friday night was a lovely, fun Italian dinner and then some dancing. And Saturday....we went out on a boat. The Disco Boat!!! We boarded the boat at the top of the Vltava and for 3 hours we went all along the river and saw the Praha sights from a different angle. AND we danced!!! It was so much fun!! A great way to celebrate a birthday AND say farewell to my friends.

A week later....it was time to say goodbye! But I wasn't alone at home yet.....I had a some visitors coming!!
