No hairy clams and a dash to Singapore
I occasionally receive emails from visitors to the traveljournals site, usually with questions about the places I’ve been. I received an email after the last journal entry enquiring if I had returned to the market at Ang Sila and found the supply of Hairy Clams.
Well, we did return to Ang Sila on Sunday morning, getting up at 4.30am to do so, but unfortunately yet again there were no hairy clams available.
The day wasn’t a complete write-off. It did produce a lovely sunset and I took a couple of shots of it from my balcony.
Yesterday I left Bangkok for Singapore. I took a few pictures at the airport and then in the area around my hotel later in the evening.
I used to live in Singapore and my office was about 200 metres from the hotel I’m staying in for the two days I am here. It was lovely to arrive last night and take a walk around the area and see so many of the familiar sights, as well as noting so many new developments.
Now I have a meeting to attend. So, perhaps there will be a little more from Singapore a bit later.
