Day 02
Day 2 at sea 06/03/2011
We sailed up the coast of NSW most of the day. Weather was reasonable – overcast and a bit of a breeze for most of the day with there being no rain. Sue and Glenda went to the Ballroom Merengue dance class which wasn’t all that much fun then we all attended a Trivia quiz in the morning.
Lunch followed at the top of the ship in the Horizon Lounge with its buffet style. After lunch there was a much more fun Line Dancing class. Corky and David went to watch a Pool Olympics contest in the pool area but there was a distinct lack of interest in this event due both to the weather and the age of most of the guests on the ship. It was cancelled.
Sue went to some Lotus Spa raffle to try and win some pampering and the like but failed to win a prize. The ship passed Minnie Water and then Yamba about 2pm this afternoon.
4pm saw us seek a few refreshments at the bar overlooking the pool. Then went to dinner at our usual time and straight after saw our first full production show “Piano Man”. This was a terrific show involving the Sun Princess singers and dancers with excellent singing and dancing along with some magnificent costumes.
We went and had some coffee and hot chocolate while listening to another singer/pianist (Larry Dunsmore) in the Atrium Lounge before hitting the hay.
