Behind the waterfall
Behind the waterfall
One of the most beautiful places to viist while in Montezuma is the waterfall right at the edge of town. Got ourselves gathered up and set off up the path. Jerry and I took the high road and Robert walked along the river to the falls.
There were several groups there and a large iguana wandered up to where we were sitting. Beautiful colors. We all had a refreshing time in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall and watched the antics of some of the people there. There were some people climbing up part way on the waterfall and then jumping off. Fortunately no one got hurt. A young German staying at Luna Llena was at the waterfall when someone slipped and fell on the rocks. Luckily he was able to walk away.
After our cool refreshing time at the waterfall, we headed back down. The empanada lady was there at the entrance, we all had one sitting and looking at the beach and ocean.
As we were walking back to Luna Llena, we ran into Gordan and Keisha and decided to check out where they are staying. It is past the waterfall but does have a very nice view and breeze from their second story balcony. The water at this place is not potable so they haul their water back to their room.
