Sao Paulo
We arrived in sao paolo bus station at 3 in the morning and were worried about whether it would be safe to stay in the bus station, but as it turns out it was very busy with loads of ppl waiting for the metro to open at 4.30. The purpose of our visit to sao paolo was really to break up our long trip down to florianopolis. We only stayed one night and didn't get to see much of the city as it was just so vast. Most of what we did see was on the bus ride out and what was most interesting was the outskirts with hundreds of favellas and little built up areas with seemingly a football match being played every 100 yards, mostly on dirt pitches with no markings bar a rough penalty area.
