After a few weeks of searching and another round of
parasites, John and I have found a cutie little
apartment in Portland, Maine. The best part about it
is that it is less than a minute's walk from our
friends' house and close to the park and farmer's
market. We are eager to get ourselves reconnected to
our community here, and I'm hoping for a mix of work
and volunteer opportunities with kids and grannies and
dance and spanish and pottery and gardening. We have
access to the back yard, and visions of sunflowers are
dancing in our heads. I'm looking forward to this time
of nesting and discovering the next path to take.
South America beckons...and if we heed the call we'll
be sure to start this journal up again.
