An early morning walk to and through the local market in Ho Chi Minh City,

This morning we were able to take a refreshing stroll from the hotel to the nearby, about 1.5 kilometres, market. The heavy rain from the night and early hours of the morning had dissipated, there was a fresh breeze in the air and, being a Sunday morning, the traffic was comparatively light. Not a lot of cars or vans, and a light to moderate sprinkling of motorbikes and bicycles.
