I'm just back from a fabulous week in sunny week in Barbados.
It was really nice to see Paul and all his friends and spend some quality time soaking in some sun!
I didn't get to the England cricket test match, but I did see most of the England team play a friendly warm up match at the University. It was a lovely atmosphere, there were only about a hundred spectators there so the atmosphere was a bit like a village cricket ground. It was free to watch, and we all sat around the boundaries. Needless to say - England did us proud!
The rest of the week was filled with a mixture of sightseeing, eating great quality food, swimming in the clear, blue warm waters and relaxing. It was a really hard life!
Unfortunately the time went too quickly. I could easily have spent a couple more weeks there!
