Yes its been a while since we wrote anything but there's been so much to see and do. Since our last update we've traveled all over the cape seeing quite a few things . the highlights being the guy playing guitar made from a caltex 5ltr oil can . We found Nemo in the aquarium although we werent sure which one was nemo (pictures included).we took a hair raising drive through chapman's peak . very very nice scenery though. we also stopped over at misty cliffs , scarborough to pick up some sea shells where I managed to break the only sea urchined we could find.. typical ... from there we moved onto cape point where we had the most breathtaking view while having lunch . plus a very close encounter with a baboon . she jumped onto the table next to sarah and cheekily took a breadroll out of the basket . it took sarah several seconds to realise what was happening . meantime myself and 2 waiters were chasing it off with a broomstick . there was electric fence around us but that didnt stop this baboon.

From there we moved onto the highlight of the day at boulders beach
to get upclose and personal with some penquins. sarah really enjoyed this bit and we stayed for a while burning to a crisp in the meantime.
early to bed for a 7 hour drive to knysna

we arrived at knysna tired and grumpy but didn't take long to get in a relaxed mood this place is awesome.we went for a sundowner cruise last night on the lake which was very relaxing and made more special by the stopover on an island to see some blue duiker and knysna loerie birds.

Today was an early start off too monkeyland. here we were immediatly greeted by a squirrel monkey. these monkeys all roam free and we had a tour through the forest trying to find all the different ones. we saw lemurs , blue velvet monkeys , gibbons , capphisho monkeys etc etc . very nice way to start a day i should add. these monkeys originate from zoos circusses laboratories and pets and are rehibilitated into a secure wild free roaming environment but dont turn your back cause they can just as quickly steal all your stuff and run off into the forest. afterwards we went to see the elephants and got to feed and stroke them
a very good experiencec that was too .

well we're off to see what to do next and tommorow we're going to the caves and stroke the cheetahs . hopefully i'll have fingers to type some more soon. don't forget to look at the pictures on the website.
