Hey Sorry for taking so long on posting up more pictures of my little trip to Carlsbad Caverns. I have to admit that spelunking the Spider cave in New Mexico was one the best experiences I’ve had in a while. I was actually a little nervous about doing this because the reviews showed that this was the most difficult cave to explore at Carlsbad. I felt a bit better when I found out that I wasn’t the only first time spelunker. I honestly think it wasn’t as extreme as I thought it would be. But don’t get me wrong there were some really tight crawling spaces where I thought I wasn’t going to get through. Some of these tunnels were so tight that most of the time I was either crawling on four or simply on my stomach. Yeah it was a dirty job but I had lots of fun and I got see some cool stalagmites and stalactites. I was able to take some pictures while inside but since I didn’t take a case for my camera and I was on the ground most of the time I kind ruined my camera inside the cave. Dirt penetrated my auto focusing lens so no it doesn’t extend when I turn it on. I guess I need the Panasonic Lumix.
