we just got home from the bojo beach... my feet are all in sand right now... but before i even take a shower, i need to write!!!
we went to the bojo beach; it was brenda, me, cecilia and julio... the beach is like an island (or maybe i can call it a sand dune?!?) located in between a canal and the atlantic ocean... to get to the sand beach you either take a canoe or the bojo cruiser in order to pass the canal... and then you get to the island where on one side is the crazy atlantic ocean, and on the other is the calm canal with canoes and boats...
oh my god... it was such a tranquil place... so peaceful... touching aaaaaall your senses... the sand, the wind, the sun... the waves... seashells... birds... huts... the canoes and fishing boats... everything that would make a beach beautiful... everything so colorful, so bright... taking a walk along the beach... just too good to be true... it is really difficult to put it in words; i hope you can come here and i take you there...
and when we came back home, welcoming me in my room was the inspiring sunset!!! during the week, by the time we get home from work, it is already dark (the sunset is at about 17.45 and it gets dark very quickly); that's why i was surprised to the lights of sunset in my room :D
ah, i also had my second local meal at the beach today: jollof rice and chicken :D next time, i will try to get some 'fufu' ;)
i uploaded some photos from today; they don't give the exact feeling of course, but just an idea ;)
on this peaceful day, i once more realized it is always good to go for the adventure... and i am a really lucky person... i come across with good opportunities that take me to good places, and good people which make everything unforgettable... and i really wish i could have had all those people with me here... but c'est la vie...
