Arthur's first travel to Salvador-BA

2009, September: we have traveled to Salvador, State of Bahia, where live my wife's parents and family. Salvador was the first capital of Brazil, before Rio de Janeiro (nowadays, it's Brasília). It has a well preserved historic center (known as "Pelourinho"), with a lot of churches (Baianos says there are 366: one for each day of year, more one for wedding !), nice portuguese colonial buildings, squares, cobblestone streets, etc. Enjoy yourselves !
