Wow, it's taking me a while to get all of these pictures up! Well, as you can see, we went to Berlin last weekend...it was a lot of fun :) We saw the Brandenburg gate, the many many MANY statues around town, the Holocaust museum, and a small strip of the Berlin wall.
We did so much walking it wasn't even funny. This was everyone's first weekend trip since we've been here, so we weren't particularly aware of the distance between things in the city. Example being our hostel: 1 hour out of town! Needless to say we took a lot of taxi's! But overall, the trip was a lot of fun :)
So I was in Berlin Friday and Sat, and on Sunday I got on a train with half of the boys in the house headed to Frankfurt for the Frankfurt Auto Show (none of the other girls wanted to come...i wonder why...haha). I took as many pictures as I could, but by the time we got to the good stuff (lambos, Ferrari's, ect) my camera had died. So I'm going to try to bum some more pictures off of the guy's cameras and put them up :)
This weekend I'm laying low at the house. I'm probably going to do a little more walking around town today and tomorrow, so I'll put some more pictures up of Heidelberg. And then on Sunday, a group of us are going to the Dachau concentration camp. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to bring my camera there, so I'll just see how it goes.
